1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Jyotish Sarathi Kundaliapplication ("App") — published by Sarathi Services Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") — available on Google Play (package: com.jyotish_sarathi.app), Microsoft Store, and macOS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Description of Service

Jyotish Sarathi Kundali is a comprehensive Vedic astrology software that provides:

  • Kundali Charts: Generate Lagna, Navamsha, and divisional charts based on Suryasiddhanta and Drik Siddhanta calculations.
  • Dasha System: Vimshottari, Yogini, and detailed Dasha period breakdowns.
  • Vedic Panchanga: Daily Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, and planetary positions.
  • Planet Transits, Kundali Matching, Ashtakavarga, Planet Strength, Planet Relations, Date Converter, Daily Patro, Vedic Calendar, Dasha Photos.
  • Multi-Language: Support for English, Hindi, and Nepali.
  • Ayanamsha Modes: Lahiri, Raman, Krishnamurti, Yukteshwar, and other systems.
  • Chart Formats: North Indian and South Indian chart styles.
  • Siddhanta Choice: Switch between Surya Siddhanta (Sabeej) and Drik Siddhanta.

All calculations are performed locally on your device. Premium subscribers also get access to cloud sync.

3. Platforms and Availability

  • Android — via Google Play Store
  • macOS — via direct DMG download from GitHub Releases
  • Windows — via Microsoft Store

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App.

5. License and Usage

  • The App is free to download on all platforms with basic features available at no cost.
  • Premium features require an active subscription.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App or its source code.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

  • The App offers subscription-based premium plans that unlock advanced features.
  • Subscription plans, pricing, and included features are displayed within the App before purchase.
  • Payment Method: The App displays a QR code for payment. After making payment, you must send a screenshot of the payment confirmation to us via WhatsApp.
  • Subscription activation may take some time as it is processed manually.
  • To cancel your subscription or request a refund, contact us at +977 9765394480.
  • We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove subscription tiers or features at any time.

7. macOS Installation

The macOS version is distributed as a DMG file via GitHub Releases. You may need to run the following Terminal command after installation:

xattr -rc "/Applications/Jyotish Sarathi.app"

8. Accuracy of Calculations

Important Disclaimer

  • The App performs astrological calculations based on Suryasiddhanta and Drik Siddhanta algorithms. Results are for informational and spiritual reference purposes only.
  • Astrological calculations and interpretations are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any calculation, prediction, or interpretation.
  • The accuracy of your Kundali depends on the accuracy of the birth details you provide.
  • Minor variations may exist between different astrology software due to differences in algorithms, Ayanamsha values, or ephemeris data.

9. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the birth details you enter into the App.
  • You are responsible for keeping your device and its data secure.
  • You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are the property of Sarathi Services Pvt Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Sarathi Services Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
  • We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any calculations or features.
  • The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, App uninstallation, or operating system updates.

12. Updates and Changes

  • We may release updates to the App from time to time.
  • Updates on Android and Windows are delivered through their respective app stores. macOS updates require downloading the latest DMG from GitHub Releases.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.

13. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated. You may terminate by uninstalling the App from your device.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
